Basic Guide
Know your hand rankings before you sit down at a 6rwin table. This is the one fundamental you simply can't skip.
A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit — the strongest hand in poker. Nearly impossible to hit.
Five consecutive cards of the same suit. Example: 5♠6♠7♠8♠9♠. Extremely rare.
Four cards of the same rank. Example: K♠K♥K♦K♣. A hand that almost always takes the pot.
Three of a kind plus a pair. Example: K♠K♥K♦+Q♣Q♥. An exceptionally strong hand.
Five cards of the same suit, not in sequence. The highest card determines the winner in a tie.
Five consecutive cards of mixed suits. Example: 5♠6♥7♦8♣9♠. Ace can be used as 1 or 14.
Three cards of the same rank. Example: J♠J♥J♦. Still a solid hand at an active table.
Two separate pairs. Example: A♠A♥+K♦K♣. Comes up often and frequently wins at regular tables.

Poker Strategy
